Position Objective

Support all projects in the region to improve processes to increase efficiency to simplify procedures; the processes to be implemented need to result in a state where the region will have better controls, where processes relating to AP, accounting and reporting are better integrated with simple and strong Sox Controls. Furthermore, this person will play an important roll in the support for the region for the implementation of systems like the new Vision system (Vantage Point), the implementation of Blackline for reconciliations and task management and for the creation of reports in Vision that will simplify and standardize SOX compliance.
The person need to be able to analyze current processes in the region and create and execute plans to improve processes. In this process, the person will have close contact with the finance and operational teams in International and with the IT teams from International and at Corporate.
Experience with project management to implement such changes are important; and in that area being familiar with either Scrum or Prince 2 project management is helpful.
It is expected that some traveling to various locations in Europe, Middle East and North Africa is required.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  1. Master degree in Accounting/Finance or IT
  2. Experience with Scrum and Prince 2
  3. Experience in continuous improvement processes
  4. Experience in IT, ERP systems and having worked on the cross roads of IT, Accounting and Finance
  5. Preferably experience in project management organization and construction (management)
  6. Knowledge of internal controls and SOX controls
  7. Team player, good communicator and demonstrating initiative
