Container Centralen A/S is an European logistical service provider and the European Reusable Transport Item (RTI’s) and pool management expert. They are active in eight regions across Europe and deliver a wide range of supply chain solutions and services - from full service independent pool management of assets to asset services - to medium and large retail and horticultural customers worldwide. With the help of the RTI’s millions of plants and retail goods are transported each year to customers and shops across the world. Over 23,000 customers rely on the containers to help them safely transport their products from production to the shop floor.

Container Centralen (CC) has been the developer and owner of the CC pool system for more than 40 years. The CC pool system is the largest Reusable Transport Item (RTI) pool system in Europe. The goal is to optimize the supply chain by making the products move more efficiently. The RTIs can be used in different ways in different pools. The CC pool system is suitable for retailers, consumers and suppliers. They offer all kinds of tailor-made solutions that fits the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • The full corporate finance structure > all legal entities
  • Overall responsible for implementing the necessary changes to transform CC finance and ICT departments into business oriented support functions.
  • Overall responsible for more financial awareness throughout CC.
  • Overall responsible for ICT.
  • Co-responsible for formulating and implementing a revised business strategy.

Main Tasks

  • Realise timely, accurate and specified financial reporting enabling CC to control its cost and forecast it results
  • Provide detailed reporting on product, customer and project profitability
  • Secure sufficient funding resources for CC to enable the execution of CC strategy
  • Manage, drive and coach employees on results (KPI’s), competence development
  • Provide leadership and quality control to the Finance & IT team Refine, and oversee implementation of transfer pricing policies Improve/simplify the current multi-country finance set-up in cooperation with 3rd party (BDO) service provider
  • Ensure tax compliance in all jurisdictions and lead on interactions with revenue authorities
  • Ensure stable, reliable and secure IT infrastructure and application management
  • Improve the (financial and accounting) systems and processes, allowing for efficient and reliable financial management, using Dynamics 365
  • Efficiently manage the full cash-flow (incl. financing) and allocate available capital to drive return on capital
  • Participate with CEO and CCO in board meetings
  • Participate in CC’s workgroups/projects when required
